The David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry is designed to assist you in the compilation and administration of your occasion. With an extensive range of quality merchandise and services, as well as friendly and professional staff, we can help you compile a Gift List to celebrate any special occasion. For the most important occasions, there’s no other store like David Jones.
How to Register
To register your occasion, visit or call the Gift & Bridal Registry in your closest store.
Appointments are necessary to allow you time with a Gift & Bridal consultant to discuss your specific needs, answer any questions and register with the David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry.
We recommend you visit us 8 weeks before your occasion or at least a month before you send out your invitations.

Your Gift List
Once you have compiled your Gift List, it will be entered into our system and linked to all our stores nationally. Please allow five days for registering your Gift List on our computer system.
Guest Cards will be provided for inclusion into each invitation advising your guests that you have a preferred list of gifts with the David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry. |

Guests can obtain a Gift List as follows:
- Using the Gift List search function on this page.
- Visiting the Gift and Bridal Registry in their nearest David Jones store
- Contacting the Gift & Bridal Service on 1300 300 111 or +61 2 9266 6186 (outside Australia)
Gift List's will be updated on a daily basis to reflect purchases made on the previous day. It is important that guests always obtain an up to date Gift List before making their selection. Please let us know if you receive gifts from other retailers, so that we can delete them from your Gift List and avoid duplication.
Prices listed on the Gift List will be the full retail price of the item at the time of selection. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Making Changes to your Gift List
Additions
If you wish to add items to your gift list, please download the Additions Form and visit your nearest David Jones store to add the items you wish to register. Please ensure that all the fields on the Additions Form are completed in full to ensure that the items will be added to your Gift List correctly. Once completed, either email, fax or drop the form into your nearest David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry. Please allow 5 days for the items to be added to your Gift List.

Deletions
If you wish to delete items from your gift list please download the Deletions Form and complete the fields on the form. Once completed, either email, fax or drop the form into your nearest David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry.

Availability of Gifts
David Jones cannot guarantee that the items available upon registration will be available throughout the period of the Gift List, especially in seasonal departments or where seasonal merchandise may be available for a limited period of time. Please check with the relevant department when compiling your gift list. |

In the event that any item, which has been selected, is subject to delay or is not available, the Gift & Bridal Registry will contact you or the relevant guest who may:
- select an alternative gift
- leave the item on hold for 7 days
- place a customer special order
- accept a refund in the form of a David Jones Gift Card, provided the item has been paid for.
Gift Wrapping
David Jones offers an optional gift wrap service.
If you select the ‘wrap’ option your gifts will be gift wrapped and guests can choose to have a personalised message included with the gift.
If you select the “no wrap” option, your gifts will not be individually gift-wrapped, however, to ensure safe delivery of your gifts, they may arrive in protective packaging. Guests can still choose to have a personalised message included with the gift.
Please speak with your Gift & Bridal consultant who can provide you with further information and arrange for your guests to be advised of your request.
Delivery
The David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry offers a consolidated delivery service. Guests have the option to take the purchase(s) with them or have the gift packaged and delivered for a service fee.
Deliveries will be made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. David Jones is unable to give a specific time for delivery however, AM delivery is between 8am and 1pm and PM delivery is between 1pm and 6pm.
Due to their nature and size, gifts such as large appliances, whitegoods and furniture are not wrapped and require separate delivery. A service fee, depending on the location, will be charged to your guests for these deliveries.
David Jones is able to recommend a preferred method for overseas deliveries. |

*Australia Post deliveries will occur under the following circumstances:
- Where deliveries are made to country areas (outside the metropolitan area);
- Where gifts are purchased in a State outside the delivery State; or
- Where gifts are sourced from a State outside the delivery State
All Australia Post deliveries will arrive as separate deliveries.
Cancelled and Postponed Occasions
In the event of an occasion being postponed or cancelled for any reason, please contact the David Jones Gift & Bridal Registry so that the necessary procedures can take place.
The guest will be given one of two options for a cancelled occasion:
- a refund on the purchase made, or
- delivery to an address, nominated by the guest, provided the service fee has been paid.
Returns and Exchanges
Goods may be returned or exchanged in line with David Jones Returns Policy or if the item is a double up by David Jones, not another retailer.
Once goods are delivered, any items that require replacement will be replaced or exchanged with like merchandise or a David Jones Gift Card for the amount of the purchase price. No cash refunds are available.
Returns and exchanges must be made to the Gift & Bridal Registry.
International Client Information
In the event that you are currently overseas or don’t have access to a David Jones Store, but wish to register with the David Jones Gift & Bridal Service, there are a number of ways in which you can select your gifts.

Should you wish to register with David Jones please provide the following details via email or fax:
- Full name(s) of the Gift Recipient(s)
- Date of your occasion,
- Postal address
- Work, Home and Mobile phone numbers of the Gift Recipient(s)
- Fax number of the Gift Recipient(s)
- Email address of the Gift Recipient(s)
- A delivery date and address within Australia
- The number of guests you are inviting
- The name and contact number of your Australian representative
Gift Selection
Friends and Family: A parent, relative or friend in Australia may assist with the coordination of the selection of gifts on your behalf. Our consultants are able to forward you a limited range of product brochures to aid in the gift selection process, upon request.
Local Department Store: At David Jones we have brands that are also available in international department stores. For items such as Chinaware, Glassware, Homewares and Appliances we suggest that you visit a department store in your country to select the brands/designs that you like. It will be much easier to decide if you are able to view them in person. Our consultants can assist you or your representative with suggested alternatives if the exact brand/design is not available at David Jones.
Supplier Websites: You may wish to select your gifts using the websites of major brand names such as Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Waterford, Orrefors Kosta Boda, Alessi, Villeroy and Boch and Sheridan. Please be aware that we may not always carry the full range as displayed.
Gift Cards: If you are currently residing overseas, we highly recommend registering Gift Cards on your Gift List. David Jones Gift Cards offer a flexible Gift List solution, enabling you to purchase items you really want and need from the most current range of merchandise at a time suitable to you both. David Jones Gift Cards are valid for 24 months and can be used to purchase merchandise or services in any of our stores nationally.
Online Selection: Unfortunately we do not currently offer an online gift selection capability.
